Heartland Nanny Agency was started by Jenny Scott after seeing a need in the Des Moines area for an agency that works personally with professional families to find qualified nannies. Jenny has worked in the Nanny world for over 20 years working with professional families and making long lasting relationships. 

Jenny started her educational career at Des Moines Area Community College as an elementary education major. She took on a part time nanny job and fell in love with the one-on-one care she was able to give. Soon she found herself working full time as a nanny and finishing her degree online with Ashford University graduating with a bachelor's degree in social sciences with concentration in Early Childhood Education.  She now has two boys that are six and two and understands what it is like leaving your child with someone else and strives to help families get the best possible match for their children. She is uniquely qualified as a placement agent from being in the nanny field for so many years and now being a mom.
